Aperture (Purley Photography Club)
Aperture is a photographic club based in Purley, Surrey. We are particularly keen to attract people who are new to digital photography, with little or no previous experience. Many people own a digital camera these days, but few have any instruction on how to use it properly, resulting in many wasted pictures. Aperture would like to be a freindly guide to help those who seek assitance. As a result, although we have regular photo-assignments to encourage members to extend themselves, we don't have a lot of competitions. We would rather develop a supportive, helpful environment - than a competative one. MembershipMembership is £25 per year, paid every January. There are concessions for OAPs, students and the unemployed (£20 pa). Visitors may attend their first two meetings free of charge. After that, if they wish to continue coming, they must join. We meet 8-10pm, every other Monday at the Purley Baptist Church, Banstead Road, CR8 3EA. This website is currently under construction and more information will be added soon.
